Has Covid-19 changed any plans?
Our new wedding date is May 21st, 2022. Per the guidelines for the City of Philadelphia, all attendees are required to be fully vaccinated, including receiving booster shots. Masks are welcome but not required.
Previous information on our changed plans can be found at our Change the Date page.
Are kids invited?
Kids are invited to the wedding.
What are the events for the weekend?
The itinerary for the weekend can be found at our Itinerary page. Details are subject to change, so please check back in.
What should I wear to the wedding?
We imagine attire somewhere between casual and cocktail for our wedding guests. We feel this will be the best way to enjoy the games, fire pit, and dancing we will have. For an idea of what we mean, view our Pinterest board here or below.
What will the weather be like?
We will be having an indoor wedding with some outdoor tented temperature-controlled seating, so the weather is a small factor. Over the past five years, the average high has been 74 degrees. Each year has gotten warmer though, with the last two years reaching a high of 80 degrees!
What kind of food will be served?
We will have several different food stations during the reception provided by 12th Street Catering. Food stations will include vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free options.
Where is the venue?
Both the ceremony and reception will take place at BLDG 39.
Where can I stay?
We have a reservation block available at the Marriott Hotel in Philadelphia’s Old City. You can review the options and make your reservation here. Reservations need to be made by April 20th, 2022 to receive the group rate.
How can we arrive at the venue?
Transportation to and from the venue will be provided from the hotel. Please RSVP if you wish to use the provided transportation. There is also free parking at the venue for those who would like to drive.
Where are you registered?
We are registered at Zola, West Elm, and Williams Sonoma. You may find our registry here.
Will you have a wedding hashtag?
Yes! Our wedding hashtag is #SeikalyChen. Please share your pictures, stories, and thoughts with us on Instagram or Twitter.
